The Topography of the Invisible
BRANCHES BETWEEN
BODY AND UNIVERSE
The creation of these digital landscapes began with the observation of neural networks— biological structures where information propagates through interconnected circuits, sculpting thought pathways. Inspired by this organic logic, I used images of neural networks as an integral part of the conception of these digital pieces, transposing their intricate patterns into a new visual territory.
Just as neurons connect and expand electrical impulses throughout the brain, the forms here develop as interwoven filaments that grow and unfold, simulating a living system.
The geometry of these networks, translated into digital relief, becomes landscape— a fluid cartography where the structure of thought finds an echo in topography.
Thought sculpts the environment, and the environment, in turn, transforms the mind. The same logic that shapes synapses and gives form to thought seems to be reflected in the organization of the landscape, as if both belonged to a single pulsating system.
By merging science and abstraction, the representation of the invisible manifests itself in terrains that oscillate between the biological and the cosmic.
What were once synapses converted into images now transforms into territory— a space where matter and memory converge, resonating as a trace of that which organizes both human thought and the universe.

Between Thought and the Cosmos
COSMIC CARTOGRAPHY
The conception of the digital pieces Corpuscapes arose from the need to expand the scale of matter, dissolving the boundaries between the micro and the macro, between the body and the cosmos.
It is an exploration of the body's fragility, where its ephemeral condition is placed into perspective, revealing its impermanence in contrast to the vastness of the universe.
While exploring digital paintings inspired by neural networks, I noticed how the lines connected, expanded, and dissolved, evoking an invisible communication— like synapses in motion.
By transforming these images into animation, I witnessed how the strokes seemed to interact, extending and fragmenting, like a living system in constant flux.

Multimedia Installation
This observation led me to imagine a new dimension for the project, to be developed in the future as a multimedia art installation: what if these networks could react to sound, like electrical impulses running through a living organism?
Thus arises the idea of exploring the fusion of image and sound through programming— an installation where lines vibrate, contract, and expand to the rhythm of familiar sounds of nature. Thunder, which sketches the sky with its ephemeral branches, becomes the catalyst for this metamorphosis, merging light, electricity, and movement into a single pulse.
With each sound of lightning, the drawn circuits illuminate in electric blue, pulsing like the synapses of the universe before dissolving into darkness. The flash is not just light but a stimulus that reorganizes space for an instant, sculpting ephemeral landscapes in the invisible matter of time.
The drawing is no longer fixed—it becomes an organism, a vibration, a rhythm. A system that breathes and responds, where time, sound, and matter dissolve into an interconnected network of flows and transformations.
This digital exploration expanded the concept of the transcendence of the human body into a state of continuous connection with the universe, surpassing its fragility and transience. I intend to further develop this idea through programming, creating a physical installation where the sounds of nature interact in sync with the transformation of this network of lines, making the relationship between matter, sound, and time visible.
